Navodaya Vidya Niketan, established in 1992, stands as one of the most trusted educational institutions in Kasaragod District, Kerala. Affiliated to the Kerala State Board, our school has been committed to providing quality, value-based education that prepares students for both academic success and life beyond the classroom.
Over three decades, we have grown from a small school with a handful of students to a thriving institution with over 1,200 students from Nursery to Class XII. Our campus, nestled in the heart of Kanhangad, is equipped with modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and a warm, inclusive community that feels like a second home to every child.
We follow the Kerala State Syllabus and continuously align our teaching practices with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), ensuring our students receive a forward-looking, comprehensive education.

Navodaya Vidya Niketan was founded in 1992 by the Navodaya Educational Trust under the leadership of its founder chairman, Shri. Raghavan Nambiar, with the aim of bringing quality education to the children of Kasaragod. What started as a school with just two classrooms and 80 students has grown into a full-fledged institution spanning Nursery to Higher Secondary level.
Over the years, our school has earned recognition from the Kerala Government for academic excellence, and our students have gone on to become doctors, engineers, teachers, civil servants, artists, and entrepreneurs — all carrying the values instilled here.
